change in plans
I now know that I’m pregnant, so running the 1/2 marathon at my best will have to wait a year. I went for a run, but kept worrying about my heart rate and temp. causing me to stop and wake every .50 or so. The 1/2 marathon is still on the calendar, but not looking toward a great time. My knee is doing a lot better though, but the arm stll aches– guessing the rain didn’t help with that.

Easy run
The workout called for an easy 3 miler, but before that I cycled for 12 miles because we’re completing in an indoor Ironman at work and I have to get my miles in. I ran with a new gadet today as well, the nike plus for the ipod- that was fun to have a voice telling me the distance and interesting to me to see that I’ve been running the incorrect distance for a few weeks now unknowingly. I ran into a problem on the run when I ran into a sworm of gnats that went into my eyes- so that was a necessary time out in the running to pick them out of my eyes and my legs felt weak during the run after the biking session. It’s going to be interesting to see how I get all these miles in before I move on the 21st. Hopefully the move will go smoothly!!
